New film project

Marie-Monique Robin with new project

Marie-Monique Robin, who was awarded the Rachel Carson Prize in 2009, is presently working on a new book- and movie project. In late 2012 she plans to present a new film concerning the issue "How to feed the world without using pesticides".

Her renowned film "The world according to Monsanto" was followed by "Our daily poison" in 2010 (Notre poison quotidien/Unser täglich Gift). It addresses health injures caused by the use of pesticides among farmers, and from food additives such as Aspartame and hormone imitating plastic substances like Bisphenol-A.

Marie-Monique is now running her own production company, m2rfilms, along with her husband. The team is working to secure the funding of the new film through contracts with international TV companies, as well as from pre-sale to subscribers. In addition to the documentary, the special, limited and numbered edition DVD reserved for subscribers includes bonuses and an accompanying booklet.
